I realize yours is a sarcastic comment, but I can see Bungie profiting off this idea. For one, it's added content on the cheap. All the lore and cutscenes are already there. Bungie would just be combining and organizing them in one place. Their investment would be small. For two, they could use it as fodder for more items to be sold through Eververse. For example, a whole line of Golden Age ships, sparrows, and ghost shells that have been uncovered by Ikora's library research. For three, they could use it to sell merchandise. For example, books of collected lore or miniture replicas of artifacts on display in the museum. That's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there's more, but I'm not getting paid for this so I don't wanna waste creative thought on it.

They won't do it. They've ignored lesser requests for longer which would be easier to implement than this idea. Would I like to see it? Yeah, definitely. I just expect very little anymore.
