Stasis is already the dark, gritty subclass. Hive magic seems reduntant.
Give us a light-focused subclass to balance it out: Lumen.
I'm talking an element based on pure light. The subclasses could be focused heavily on support, healing and buffing.
Now THAT would be cool.

Stasis is far from dark and gritty. If anything, Nightmare energy or the wind looking energy the Pyramid Scales use are far more gritty. Stasis looks neutral.

I can suddenly see Warlock self-res returning if this was a thing, as well as Sun-singer in this form (in name only, as for abilities, those would need some serious tweaking).
