Darci and whisper should be specials. Machine guns need a dps buff.

You’re missing the point for machine guns. Machine guns aren’t meant to be dps machines; They’re meant to be large add clear weapons. That’s why 21% delirium and hammer head are good.

Again your missing the point about how an auto rifle can out damage a machine gun. And I'm not saying making them overly powerful but at least more powerful than an freaking primary weapon.

While you do have a point. A machine gun has a bigger mag to mow down enemies, and they do slightly more dps than a auto rifle. I can tell you from experience since I’ve taken them into GM nightfalls, and they take down a yellow bar a lot quicker then a auto rifle will. They have a larger mag, and do more dps than an auto rifle. The only time an auto rifle competes is in, range depending in the gun, and if it has overflow the mag size can be similar.

I'm talking in pvp when an auto out fires a machine gun. In pve they are still not worth using over a sword or grenade launcher or rocket launcher 90% of the time.

I agree with that. The only viable legendary machine gun in pvp is hammerhead. I was talking specifically for pve stuff given the DARCI being a more pve weapon.

Yeah which is another reason why I feel machine guns need a dps buff. Not over the top but to compensate so you can use things like whisper or darci in the special slot and then have a heavy machine gun with decent dps when your out of special with perks that should provide a good bonus like firing line

Yeah...they do...machine guns outside of the two exotics get outgunned by freaking auto rifles...that's just sad.

Or they can tune autos a bit.

They already said they will come beyond light. But still if an auto can currently out kill a machine gun it shows how underpowered they are as a heavy.

That's all I'm saying. Not asking for them to be exceptionally higher damage just so their better than using a primary weapon. Their heavies they should feel like it outside of being big and slow reload.
