I really don’t understand why Gambit gets so much hate. I know op was saying the mode was bad but a lot of people are.
I would much prefer playing Gambit over Strikes any day. I’ve been playing it recently as a returning friend who has played it before really likes it. Which just made me think what actually happen with Gambit that made me everyone turn from enjoying to straight hating it?.
I think fundamentally Gambit is a great game mode, but just needs tweaking to make it a solid game mode. Just seems like it’s become but of a meme, but honestly it’s not the worst content by a long shot in my opinion.

Playing gambit solo, or without a good invader sucks. As a mostly solo player who prefers PvE over PvP, I hate gambit with a fiery passion. It combines all the things i hate about destiny. PvP Brain dead or unhelpful teammates Ammo economy restrictions for balance Unless it's for a quest I never play gambit.

Yeah I can understand that, enjoyment is definitely reduced playing solo for me also. Like most of destiny content teaming up is a lot more fun to me.

Mainly because nobody wants to deal with OP invaders that Bungie stubbornly refused to balance.

Yeah "gambit bad" has definitely become a complete meme. Most people who complain non stop about it probably don't play it at all anymore. My point probably could've been clearer though. I really just think that even with triple Infamy, gambit still feels less rewarding than strikes or crucible, thus I feel no urge to play it even then. If it had tokens, or triple infamy was the base rate, I'd probably play it way more.

No no it was clear I just meant to say you wasn’t saying the mode was bad. It was my post that was unclear 😂 Yeah I would agree is should be inline with Strikes and PvP. Is the rank system still different from pvp? I always found that odd that comp was 5500 and Gambit something completely different. I think they need to get everything inline, rank system and gameplay to loot rewards.
