Players need to stop asking for old d1 exotics to come back.
It gives bungie the perfect excuse to be lazy and shows a lack of foresight from some players.
Why wouldn't you want something new and exciting, rather than the same whit people were using 5 years ago

Indeed. Ppl say omg bungo lazy they bring back old weapons instead of make new ones. Then more posts bungo plz more old weapons. This is why i come here. Very entertaining.

Strange huh? Almost as strange as ppl asking for items from an older game to be brought into a newer game, instead of playing the older game, and asking for newer items in the newer game. A mystery to be sure.

Fair enough. I think some people forget the 2 at the end of destiny 2, and other look through the rosy filter of nostalgia.

I agree with your first point. I still like d1. But i feel as tho those items were created for d1 in the d1 environment. And we all know that is completely different from what we have now. Lets let them stay there. Why not ask for something similar, but new? New things to experience, expore, and enjoy? Yes it woukd be fun to play with d1 guns in d2, but odds are they would have to retuned so much, we now would have another crowd pulling up, stating this gun was awesome but bungie ruins everything. Nah. Just give me new stuff to play with please. Ill keep my memories of the old stuff and the good times with d1, where they belong.

Granted having a few return for the sake of nostalgia isn't too bad, but where does it stop? They might as well just port all of d1 into d2 at this rate. I was disappointed when they stopped adding to d1, told us that the cabal had destroyed the tower and all our stuff. How about a little continuity? Why are we paying for stuff we paid for 5/6 years ago?
