Another question, how come Asher doesn't have an arm? Why didn't he just wipe and get it back?
Another question, how come Asher doesn't have an arm? Why didn't he just wipe and get it back?
Asher died his final death in the Pyramidian (not sure on spelling.) He lost his light if I remember correctly in the first place. After venturing into the Pyramidian during IO’s evacuation he sent down radiolarian fluids to cover the exit (of the Pyramidian) and seal it up dropping it all over him. He died, as did Sloane and Brother Vance (kinda.) It’s in the lore books given from the evacuation quest... (WARNING: they are supposed to be gone and dead since that was to release the week before Beyond Light releases [deleting the planets] but since it was pushed back they are still here. Though on Nov. 10 they should be dead. Assuming I read the lore books right...) The whole point of this post is purely he lost hos ghost if I remember correctly. He couldn’t wipe in the first place...

 • His ghost was infected as well and he hasn't been revived since as he doesn't if he ghost would or can revive him. This is all explained in the lore.

 • We don’t know exactly what was happening when the Vex ripped off his arm and attached the Vex arm, but naturally you wouldn’t just be able to heal away your new arm. And he can’t risk dying because they tampered with his Ghost too so there’s no way to know if it can heal him.

 • His arm was converted, not ripped off and attached. Much like his ghost.

 • Asher is screwed, like Kabr, the Titan that got erased from time in the Vault of Glass. He drank some "Vex Milk" and got slowly consumed from the inside out and turned into a Vex. I'm betting we'll be helping Asher in the Vault Of Glass raid. If there is a "cure", it got to be in the place where we found Kabr's corpse. 🤔

 • Lore suggests we won't. Far more likely is we will have a strike or a mission in which we entounter a fully transformed "vexified" Asher Mir. I'm excited to see what the devs create here.
