There have been a lot of these posts lately, which is obviously people prepping for Beyond Light. I am of two minds on this. People are using the postmaster in ways it wasn't intended, but there is too much blue crap and shaders that cause better drops to be lost. Personally, I have 86 enhancement prisms, 9 ascendant shards, and an exotic engram in my 3 postmasters. I know the risk and carefully monitor my postmasters. However, I still think something needs to be done with getting spammed by blue gear and shaders. These items should not push out anything from the postmaster - ever. Not so much for what I (and others) are doing right now for Beyond Light, but I have lost gear before simply because I was in the middle of a grinding session of various activities, and lost legendaries/exotics to blue-spam.
Personally, I think the postmaster should just ignore blues, shaders, and planetary materials if it is full.

Exactly what Noiztm said. I have a bunch of mats ready to go for BL in my 3 postmasters, mostly from farming the Nightfall Ordeal during one of the double drop weeks. I also have 1 exotic engram. With exotic engrams, if you don't pick them up and let them go to postmaster and save them for the next season, they can decrypt to new exotics.

With certain items having a cap in your inventory, let's say 50 Prisms. Any overflow will go to Kadi. When we have weeks when we get dbl drops from Ordeals Kadi acts as the storage unit we need to stockpile resources. This will then allow 50 prisms in your inventory but up to 150 at Kadi, if you run all 3 characters. It could easily be fix by removing the inventory cap that is in place to begin with.

It’s happened time and time again. We can’t always be 100% on top of every drop. Sometimes play time is limited and you forget or simply ignore the postmaster. Blues should NOT push out yellow classes items full stop. There should be an options so when leveling up blues are allowed and players the option to turn it off when finishing light levels.
