Post masters are for reclaiming gear that was left on the Battlefield.
If you intentionally left a exotic engram and didn't claim it...
Then it's your fault.
Seriously it's not hard to clear your postmaster.

In Destiny 2 it fills up every 30 minutes, and no mass delete function is offered. It's -blam!-ing stupid. Anyone who defends this is a moron.

Sure, because the tools and interface are so terrible, you have to go to an outside app to do basic things.

1. It tells you when it's getting full. And 2. It takes a minute or two to clear it. Its not a issue.

Baldur's Gate 1 was better in that regard 🙄

Heck, even the Division 2 knows how to program an interface. You can carry up to 100 items a player. They give you a mass delete function. You sell, dismantle in mass as well. You can take care of maintenance from anywhere. Not to mention the fact that you can save load outs. Good lord, Destiny interface/tools look like a relic compared to other games.

Engrams can drop from any player kill in your instance. If I'm in front of a teammate and an engram drops (probably a blue) and I don't know it's there, i shouldn't have to break my strike streak just to go check if there's any garbage filling up space. 2 easy fixes: a) set an option to either auto dismantle blues or better yet - don't send blues to postmaster at all b) put postmaster in the director; if we can have eververse shoved in our face at any point (and have it load quicker and more efficiently than our actual character sheets) they can definitely add postmaster for orbit.

Besides, WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO WASTE OUR TIME WITH THIS CRAP? Why can't this game have better tools? These sad-ass menus haven't been updated in 5 years. The lack of tools makes it look like a 15 year old game. I would be embarrassed if I was a developer on Destiny 2.

Well ur minute of play time is different from my minute i don't get to play every day so I go to the tower maybe once every 1-2 days to fill up on bounties and complete them and get off of destiny I don't want to sit there for 10 mins doing useless crap

It really isn't. It's handy as hell especially on my phone right next to me as I play. I don't have any of the problems you guys have and it's solely down to that app. So whinge if you want but it solves the problem you have.

Not visiting the tower or using an app that can do it is playing dumb. And you deserve to lose things if you play that way.

On console it is maybe even longer because of load times then I have to sit and dismantle shaders 1by1 then all the blues then either dismantle umbrals or go to the drifter and dismantle the legendaries.
