Based on the other users' replies I'm not sure if I'm interpreting your question correctly, so I apologize if this goes over my head and I'm writing an essay for nothing. I've said this before but I'll say it again: please, feel free to message me with a link to any posts that don't belong here in #OffTopic and I'll take care of them. I've been told that you don't want to bother me—trust me, it's no problem to me in the slightest. Even if I'm in the middle of responding to someone else, I could tap your notification, go to the post, correct it, and go back to what I was doing in like five seconds. I've also been told that it's "not [my] job" and that you feel it's more on the Ninjas to do it. I mean, you're right—nothing I do as a Mentor is my "job"—but take a look at the Mentor's description in the Code of Conduct Policy:
A community volunteer who will help answer your questions and guide you.
Key words there are "guide you." Yes, it's not my job, per se, but I do feel it's part of my duties as being a guide here on the forums. If I can't help the person by actually responding, I could at least ensure their post is in the correct part of the forum as soon as possible so they can get the help they need through someone else. Then #OffTopic is happy because the post isn't here anymore and the OP, well, they may or may not be happy based on the answer they get, but I can't really help that. My main focus because of this role is the #Help forum so I may not visit #Offtopic as often, but you can still consider me as your mod ambassador. Anything you need that I may be able to assist with, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. As the #Help forum description says, "Help us help you."
