Super night stalker main here, absolutely not. Not meant to be a panic super, but a tactical use.

What do you mean by tactically? Do you mean by leaving it somewhere as a trap? Because unless you’re playing against potatoes most people are going to notice a giant red blinking aura, that can also be shot down. Technically ANY super can be good in used when everything goes right for it. That doesn’t mean the super it’s is a good super. Tether is trash.

Or you’re trash with it lol

Edited by Ghostfire239: 10/6/2020 1:24:15 AMI do pretty well with it actually, but the level of effort and luck required to do what almost any other “one and done” super can accomplish is simply mind boggling. The bang isn’t worth the buck. Hence why it could use some touch ups. I know a few people who absolutely shit on everyone with shit weapons and subclass paths. That doesn’t mean the things they’re using are good, it just means they’re good enough to make trash useable.

Its all I use in pvp and they definitely could increase the hit detection. The direct hit still allows people to get an extra swing or slam off with their super. Which always leads to death. Not to mention the tentacle will attach but still take an extra 2 seconds after the tentacle attaches to suppress. Its a little silly seeing as suppressor nade does the same job and in most cases does it better.

I don’t have a problem with it. Again, I don’t panic use it, but use it tactically.

Yea like I don't have a problem either, and I pre fire and use it tactically but its still annoying sometimes. Especially when you shoot it at a door before you can see the super, they make it through the door, kill you, then get tethered even though the tentacle is already attached to them. Neutral game is dope though.

for me using it tacticlly leads to either nobody goes there or one person gets caught and the rest of the enemy team stays back till its gone
