I don’t think an all around nerf is called for but the arc strider sub class that twirls the staff around and can block supers and heavy with no time limit until he gets to you and kills you is ridiculous! That needs a huge nerf along the lines of only be able to block for 5 seconds or something. I mean for them to be able to block super and heave until the super runs out is way op. Titans and warlocks have nothing that powerful. I play Warlock Dawnblade and if it wasn’t for the melee and dodge I wouldn’t play it because 8/10 times I use it I get ohk by shotgun or a couple hand canon shots or other supers. Titans have shoulder charge but again, players who don’t play Titan think it’s op but I can’t even count the never of times I charge and miss or get ohk by shotguns before I can connect.

  • Sounds like you just hate middle tree. Defecting drains the super more than normal and you can’t move fast. As an opponent you should be using that to your advantage. If you actually used it, you would know it doesn’t deflect like it is suppose to and you will die with a misadventure. It’s ok the hate a class because you see it a lot in crucible, but calling for nerfs shows you need more time in pvp. All three classes play different and have different learning curves.

  • Sounds like middle tree is what you play!

  • It is. This is why I’m saying it’s not used by many top pvp players (especially in trials). Just like I said in another comment. I played a few games on my hunter and died deflecting from normal gunfire into a misadventure.

Not to sound like I’m bragging or just rude. But i have close to a 2000 Elo in trials, unbroken title, flawless title, and hundreds of hours in crucible. It’s straight fact that hunters middle tree is op as far as super vs super is concerned. 6v6 scenario is fine but when your doing competitive or trials, that middle tree is super op. Plus hunters are the easiest to pick up and play in PvP because of all of there escape options and crutches, not saying that titans and warlocks don’t have that but there is a reason why the high competitive playlists in PvP are dominated by hunters

  • So if we are going by that, I would say I have the higher ground on having higher Elo and playing just as much pvp. If you have played the top players in trials, you would know the hunters play spectral and not arc. Out of all the raining supers in trials, arcstrider is the easiest to beat if you understand that deflection eats away your super. As someone who has always used acrstrider as my hunter and go flawless on the other classes too, you are dead wrong on this. Triple warlock is by far the easiest way to get flawless right now. Titans are tied with hunters if you use them the way they are suppose to be used.....

  • Doesn’t always happen. In my experience on always using it in pvp, it’s not consistent. That’s why ppl spam spectral and have a better success rate with that. I literally played today and had four misadventures while in super. Ppl complained about it before and it never got looked at

  • Well I have more luck using top tree hammers against the arc strider anyway

  • If it’s super vs super, you just have to bait the block. When I’m a titan, I slam next to the hunter. If I’m a warlock, I nova bomb the wall or floor. As a hunter I make sure to make them feel like they can kill me so I can defect and get the extra damage. Ppl just freak out and planking shoot/super as soon as they see the super

  • Ya as a Titan main the shoulder charge is hit or miss sometimes. And using missile Titan in trials against a middle tree arc staff is definitely frustrating. We had a lighthouse game become a loss because a hunter blocked TWO missile titans with that arc staff

  • Ouch, that’s rough! I love the pulse grenades and I use the tree where you get an extra grenade. I get so many kills just with grenades.
