You get a 50 level advantage when you over level. That translates to around 50% more health. If you’re struggling against trash adds that you over level, I don’t know what to tell you.

  • I don't think it's so much that people are bad, I think it's more so the logic of us being 10x stronger than we were when we fought Oryx, yet a common thrall canstill kill us. It just breaks the immersion. If I'm playing a game like SMT: Nocturne and I'm end game level. The lower level enemies start doing chip damage. I know Destiny is not a turn-based rpg, but a similar logic of leveling should still apply.

Having the enemies be even weaker than they already are would be a stupid decision when it comes to keeping activities relevant. If I load into the Cosmodrome next season, the adds should be able to damage and even Kill me despite the destination being for new/low level players. As it is now, the enemies are extremely weak when you overlevel by 50.

  • It's an example. Everyone that has played this game has died to super weak enemies like thralls, exploding shanks, etc. The Cosmodrome shouldn't even be coming back. Bungie is charging people for content they're already paid for. But that aside, it doesn't make sense for things like day 1, God slayers to be killed by Randal the Vandal. There's no point to having a light level it doesn't really do anything that help you slightly survive more.

Again, it would be stupid if enemies couldn’t kill you. That would ruin the replayability for any older activity. The advantage given is already big enough.

  • The Moon was free too, but to play the story you have to pay. Which to me is really lame because it's basically paying for the area. Mars at least gave us a new area, but going to the exact same spot on the moon to fight the same bosses we've already paid to fight before isn't really fair to the consumer base. It's just lazy reskins. And I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to die, I'm saying they shouldn't be doing as much damage as they do. It doesn't fit with the lore that the game has set up.

The cosmodrome story is going to be both new and free. Beyond light is a completely new area and story. They barely do damage when you over level them. You want them to do less? The lore sets up many enemies as extremely powerful and yet you kill them with ease. If the games difficulty matched the lore, it would be much harder, not easier.
