Except that isn’t going to work because Destiny’s actual combat is just mindless shooting. So your idea is just going to be another complete slog on top of a complete slog. There’s a reason why this game constantly zeroes in on gimmicks and puzzles despite calling itself an action game. Because the action can’t hold a candle to any other game doing it better.

There is no improving this mess. Not with a design foundation this broken. This shitshow is beyond saving and is never going to change, so I welcome with open arms whatever haphazard idea Bungo slaps on the pile. It’s like a joke that never gets old.

Why do you still play the game, and why are you still active on the forums? If the game isn't capable of being saved, and you dislike it that much, why do you persist?

It is never about having “fun” with a game to me. It’s about furthering my understanding of an artistic medium. Any game of any quality results in more learning. I play the franchise to witness the absurdity of its own existence. I come to these forums to strengthen my argumentation and conclusions about this franchise by looking into how a portion of the playerbase operates here. Same goes for the subreddit. It is all only to add more information to my conclusions, as with anything I do regarding games.
