Xbox account permanently suspended

So...after 6 years of raiding, farming, grinding and helping people. Yesterday Xbox Enforcement permanently suspended my account (MarcoDelPercio) because I was doing raid on someone else's account. They said that "account recovery" violates their code of conduct and it's a serious offence punished with immediate and permanent account suspension. I am shocked. I honestly didn't know. I thought it was good helping people out. People asked me for that. They were happy with my help. I sincerely thought I was doing some good.... and the result is this. Now I am asking you for help. What are my options? I had everything on that account. All DLCs, even pre-ordered Beyond Light. In a month a lot of content will be vaulted and even if I try my best... restarting Destiny 2 from zero just makes me cry. Honestly I didn't sleep tonight. They even took away the remaining Xbox Live Gold subscription which was paid until next summer. If I start over with a new Xbox account...will I have to buy again all Destiny 2 expansions on the new account? Please tell me no. Is there ANY way I could get back my sigils/vault loot/triumphs? What would you do in my position? Please help.... please

  • Allo there, As the banned account owns the game licences, you'll need to ask Microsoft if they can be transferred as they control them on your account. Bungie can't move them. As for your triumphs and other things that's stored by Bungie but can't be transferred to another account. You'll.beed to start from scratch if you wish to play again.

    • Hi, I'm sorry for your situation. If you start over with a new XBOX account, you will have to purchase all your expansions again as the licenses are linked to your old account. I don't believe game sharing would apply here because your previous account is banned. Bungie will not return be able to return items back to you under any circumstances. • If you start over you would have to buy everything again. Bungie constantly posts that doing recoveries is a bannable offense for any person involved and I highly doubt you were just “running the raid because they asked”. I’m guess monetary value was involved but I won’t pry for that. Carrying a person thru a raid is completely legit and fine but running on their account for them is the trouble you got into.

      • Hi there, Account recoveries in Destiny are against the Destiny ToS too. This is because most recovery services are paid services, use cheats in the crucible to complete their services, and/or damage the account (deleting characters, for example). As the ban was placed by Xbox enforcement, you shall have to take this up with them. In the mean time, Bungie does not offer a service to transfer your progress to a new account.
