It heavily implies that he is alive and worked with the copies of the Ishtar crew to send us the message found in the No Time to Explain pulse rifle from back in D1. There’s also an adventure on Nessus where Failsafe describes speaking to a Prisoner who was an excellent listener, she also mentions how she wishes she could’ve brought him back with her. This is heavily implied by many people in the lore to be Praydeth and that his death isn’t necessarily fixed. And in A Singular Exegete, entry “UNBORN” Eris mentions [quote]I do fear immortality without choice. I would not want to go on a prisoner trapped in Vex Glass, or a spirit in the Sea of Screams...[/quote] These pieces of information heavily imply that Praydeth is alive within the Vex Network. And considering VoG is going to come back at some point this coming year, it’s very possible he’ll be our seasonal vendor for that season. And perhaps the reason we venture into the Vault once more.
