Frustrating, yes. Flawed, no. They can't just forgive losses on a case by case basis.

Good idea, but you can't just flat out give the win for most rounds, or players could grief the whole other team by winning round 1 then leaving. Sure, they would get any penalty, but hackers already use throwaway accounts, so a griefer could do the same. So, there would have to be an adjustment where if the player leaves while his team is ahead, the match continues. If the 2-man wins the match, then it's a normal match. Otherwise, the 2-man gets no loss, while the 3-man gets the win.
