Blame the streamers who were losing their first mover advantage built reputation and not making enough money due to SBMM.

Another one who doesn't understand the difference between matchmaking and lobby balancing!
-
Call it what you will but lobby balancing is just sbmm on a micro scale and it can’t work without some level of sbmm on the macro level. You can’t balance a lobby made up of whoever happens to get pulled in. Too much diversity. You seem to be the one with limited understanding, fast thumbs or not.
-
Yes you can, you absolutely can balance a lobby made up of whoever. Ensure the best players are separated across the 2 teams, ensure the worst players are separated across the 2 teams. It's not that hard, but they don't do that. Yes, this would involve some sort of categorising skill for each player, but clearly they already do that in order to implement sbmm. Regardless, matchmaking is completely separate to lobby balancing, as I stated.
-
There is no way to ensure that you will have a balancable mix of players for lobby balancing without sbmm in the initial mm. Lobby balancing is rarely going to work without sbmm. Any claim to the contrary is a lie or ignorance.
-
I don't agree. Rank all players within a lobby 1-12. Team 1 Players 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 Team 2 Players 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12. That would at least be massively more balanced than what they currently do.
-
How do you know that's not how the system currently works?
-
Because very often, 1 team will all have positive KDs yet the other will all have negative. It happens all the time, suggesting this system isn't currently in place.
-
Not really. 1 could be in a tier on his own, 2 & 3 of a similar high skill, 4-9 average, & 10-12 lower tier. In that situation, 1 & 3 could dominate the field, & 2 could be pretty good on average but be outmatched & outnumbered, not to mention hamstrung by having 2 of the 3 worst players on his team. The average players on the even team would go negative for the same reasons.
-
Even when you check Destiny Tracker you'll clearly see that in solo 3v3, one team has all the high ranked players and the other team has all the low ranked players. It happens way too often to be accidental or coincidental.
-
Are you talking about your specific game history?
-
Yes but I haven't played 3v3 for quite some time. Will be back on it again next season for my 3rd and final legend rank. It's clear as day when it happens and it happens a lot.
-
And what if the difference between 1 and 2 and 11and 12 are significant? That’s a likely outcome every time which means that lobby balancing can’t work most of the time. You clearly don’t understand even with your fast thumbs. Shocking!
-
I clearly do understand and you're being facetious for whatever reason. Very clearly what I suggested is an improvement over the current system, your slow thumbs should be allowing you the time to think this through before replying.
-
What you suggest would make no difference because there is nothing to narrow the field. You clearly aren’t even going to try to think this through so I’m done wasting time trying to explain it to you. I learned a long time ago that you can’t educate a closed mind.

Blame the streamers is literally scape goating for a personal skill issue.
