a.) clear the console cache by just unplugging the power cord for a full 5 minutes 2.) make sure it's in a well ventilated area and not overheating. iii.) reboot your modem/router while waiting for the console to reboot.

  • Thanks. I've done all that and I'm at the point where I'm considering deleting and reinstalling the game. It's an older install.

  • it would probably help. if possible, install to a different drive. the drive it's on may be developing bad sectors by the sounds of it. little area's on the drive that get corrupted and it struggles to read/write from can cause things to 'hang' as it tries to do so.
