Hey there! Are you referring to your profile name “Degaetus”? If so, is this your profile? Since you are currently logged onto your fiancé’s account, you will just need to claim the rewards and then log out so you can log onto your account.

18097899 is my fiance's account, and the name should be PumaCheyenne. 5833629 is the only profile that should be Degaetus. Hence, the confusion.
-
There is no confusion here, so do not worry. I already know that you are logged onto your fiancé’s account right now. I linked your profile above to confirm if that was your account. Bungie.net allows users to have same profile names, just not the same platform account names as only those respective platforms can handle that.

But we don't want the same profile names. I only logged in on my PC to help her get her emblems. We want her account to go back to being hers. Do you know how to fix this?

Edited by TheHaraamPolice: 9/22/2020 3:53:07 PMOn the browser, click on your profile picture and go to Settings. Under Display Name, change it to whatever name your fiancé wants it to be. You can also do the same thing to the unique ID if you do not want to have numbers.

Thank you very much, I can't believe I didn't even explore that.
-
No problem! 😇
-
You got any idea why it set her account name to mine just automagically? Seems kinda ridiculous.
-
Unfortunately no, I would not know. Maybe she wanted your profile name on hers as well.
-
Naw, she didn't. It just switched over. I can only guess there was a cache problem with the website, because I had my account logged in to handle things, signed out, then signed in with hers, made some updates, and the site pulled old cache info from my account and just decided, randomly, to plonk my name and icon onto her account. Either way, it's not terribly important, but it was worth a scare. Thanks again for the info.

Got back onto my own account. This is Deg, signing out. :)
