List of Advantages
- Very high AA (aim assist), (AA + Range influences bullet magnetism regardless of controller or MnK)
- Low Zoom with no drawback
- No sway when moving (easy to side step in and out of cover)
- Infinite hard scope (these are the ones that hate 3rd peaking)
- Reliable handling
- Hit Scan (no need to lead a shot)
- Extremely high body-shot damage (looking at you high impact and adapative)
- Side effect advantage: Primary weapons have such a slow TTK, making snipers even more dominate than they should be.

They already addressed they are changing the way zoom works on existing and future snipers. Low zoom is going away. I think that alone will shake up the meta pretty heavily. Low zoom is what allows people to run and gun. Once that’s gone, and people have to stand in the back of the map and hold lanes to be effective, which is boring to most, sniper play will go way down. I think that means they’ll probably have to address Arbalest soon after too though because that’s what sniper players will gravitate towards next.
