To set it apart from Icarus dash, is could be have only one charge but move farther. They could also take out the giant crit spot in the blink trail. 🙃 I’ve been thinking the same thing as you though! I’m hoping to see some cool movement abilities for the Shadebinder, maybe even a third person melee ability as Warlocks are the only class lacking one.
Edit: I’m also prob getting beyond greedy, but I’d go as far as to say it should straight up be a feature for the Warlock to have more aerial mobility period. We need something that’ll help us NOT get shot out the sky. That and common sense lmao. I love glide, but damn you are slow as hell moving around (as it should be). Still, it would be nice to have an aerial back up to help us floof a bit more haha

Anthem has this for their Storm class, since its airborne far more often than the others. When hovering it gets bonuses to its shields. I feel like this could be applied to glide to a lesser extent in order to not be too strong, but it definitely feels needed as I slowly float around taking all the enemy fire.

Edited by HolyRoller1313: 9/24/2020 3:21:41 PMI love that! Playing the storm in Anthem was so much fun, and that is seriously what I thought the Warlock should be. I completely agree with you. I don’t mind moving slower than everyone else, but damn is it easy to die while slowing floating around everywhere lol. Glide is graceful as hell, but not practical in the middle of combat haha
