they've done this to increase the amount of micro transactions in the game. but should have reduced the cost of DLCs but money grabbing bungie just go full on. yes there only cosmetic. but this is a weak argument as your look and emotes are part of the game

But they are just cosmetic... it literally does not matter. Its also a player’s personal investment onto Eververse. It is not being shoved down your throat or you’re forced to buy.
