A lot of people are going to disagree with this thought, but I think Bungie should have adopted a subscription-based monetary system like you see in MMOs. I truly believe Destiny would have been in a way better state. Making a game ftp just encourages developers to find alternate sources of income.

They explained that they specifically don’t want this. What you buy is what you own in Destiny. So instead of spending $10 monthly you are just paying $40-$70 for a whole year of content. And you keep it.

Except that content is free dumbass. Its been free for 2 years?
-
Imagine taking a comment on a video game forum so seriously lmao
-
What? Bro if you don’t want a response don’t comment.
-
Did I have an issue with someone responding? No. I just think its funny how worked up you got.

If they removed all microtransactions and made the fall expansions free and larger, and also made the seasonal content free, then maybe.
-
Then how would they make money? So you buy the game for 60 bucks and get free content forever? In your model destiny wouldn't exist.
-
If they had released Destiny from the start like this, it would have worked in the long run. However, we're past that due date.
-
I'd be willing to pay a subscription for a good game. But definitely not Destiny, not in it's current state at least.

Hahahahahahahahaha, I would love to see them try this. Who would pay a subscription for this trash. Even Bungie isn't that stupid.
