Shadowkeep was delayed three weeks I believe. Not the same as BL's eight or so.
Not excusing Bungie in any way, but i believe they are trying not to waste resources fixing something that will not matter in 51 days.
From the way they described it, it looks like they were looking into the issue, but couldn't fix it immediately without breaking something else, again, decided not to waste man hours in something that will be a moot issue soon.

If someone would use some logic and not just regurgitate the company line, insult, or apologize for bungie, I might listen. It hasn't happened yet, so I can't really say.

I don't think you know me well enough to say that. Maybe your identity is so tied up with a video game, that to face criticism of said video game is to face criticism of yourself? Maybe your ego can't handle that? I wouldn't want to assume.
