They could track you clan and season pass exp, then apply it once beyond light comes out. I feel this makes sense since we have less time to max out these things if the new season starts in December.

I hope the delay the start of the following season. Split the difference and make the next 2 seasons a month shorter each to account. Otherwise, season 12 will only be a couple months long.

Or they could just change the year to start in november from here on out instead of shorting us on the seasons.

That's not a bad idea, either. There's liable to be a delay next year, too.
