  • Most nerfs are brought about due to weapons and exotic armor being over-tuned in PvE, not because of PvP. Recluse, Breakneck, Orpheus Rig, Rampage, One Two Punch..the list goes on and on and will now include Mountaintop. All due to being really the only sensible choice for most content because of their perks and ease of use, or how quickly the perks ramped up damage output with regards to Rampage and One Two Punch. Sure, Mountaintop and Recluse used to be a busted combo in PvP, and Mountaintop is still a nuisance, but it’s usage is way way down in PvP from where it was a couple season back. Now look at most PvE loadouts...most players (who have it) are running MT for any and all PvE content. I am one of them, because nothing else even remotely competes with it for clearing trash mobs and dealing high damage to majors and bosses without needing heavy. So let’s state again for the record, outside of a few PvP specific nerfs, the vast majority of nerfs are caused by how they function in PvE.

It is for most PVE content, but for this GM 1100 nightfall it isn't the best choice. Izanagi is way better.
