I'm aware and mention it in point 9. I personally didn't know about the glitch because I wasn't looking for glitches to cheat the game. I found out when we were told Chronicler would be vaulted and people started panicking. I'll be able to collect my 4 remaining pieces with the glitch if there's no maintenance for the final 2 remaining curse weeks. However, as I said in my point 9, I don't think this is the proper solution or helpful to those who need more than 4 pieces. I also bring this into question when people claim that Bungie changing how you earn TtP now would "devalue" the title, but people have been using a cheat to get the lore faster all this time apparently and somehow that doesn't "devalue" the title. I'd prefer an official solution in line with other solutions Bungie has already made for all vaulted content.
