This self-proclaimed "master post" is the equivalent of an infant crying because his toy got taken away. It's eloquently written but at the root it's just like every thread that's getting buried for a reason... It's been two years. The people that put in the time and effort to get the truth to power lore earned the title. The people that did not do this are FOMO-ing up a storm. When I heard about the title going away I did some quick maths and realised even if I double dipped on full curse weeks I wouldn't get it. I then said to myself "oh well". I'm not saying don't report toxic people or anything, however I am saying I don't think bungie souls change anything about the way they're vaulting this title.

Since I addressed what you bring up in your quote here. Multiple times. From every angle. I would recommend re-reading with more attention, but I don't think you care about this issue in any way, so there's really nothing for you here. And that's fine! You don't need to be so defensive. People are allowed to have other opinions, much like you have yours. I tried to compliment you by saying you put it well. In the end I disagree with just about everything you say - that's not a bad thing. It just means I see it differently.

Compliments don't really work when you word every single one of your posts with insults first. But I appreciate the compliment nonetheless. On my end, I don't really know what is there to disagree with. I thought that my OP would make that clear. Helping people finish Chronicler is in line with how Bungie treats all other content that's been in the game for 2 years or longer. That's all there is to it. If people are given a chance to get their Leviathan gear or Nightfall gear (both things have been in the game for [b]3[/b] years) easier in a last minute rush, I don't see why Chronicler should be excluded.

Agree to disagree on the compliment thing. About chronicler, the main theme of the dreaming city is the curse and how it repeats on a 3-week cycle. You have to hit up the blind well on a peak curse week to gain an "audience" with the queen (I know you are aware how it works). That's just how it was designed. I believe if someone genuinely wanted this title they would have played during those peak curse weeks from the start of the dreaming city. If someone hasn't been playing long enough to achieve that then IMO they don't deserve the title. I don't believe in hand-outs. I missed it by literally one week and I'm fine with that. I'm going for Reckoner anyway, before that one goes away too. You said your opinion, I said mine. There is no "proving someone else wrong so you win and their opinion never happened". That's a toxic way to think.

Being able to run Shattered Throne at any week makes several quests easier to complete, including quests for exotic weapons as well as making it easier to obtain other lore pieces, items and gear. I believe consistency should be prioritised, especially given how insignificant TtP is in comparison with an entire dungeon. I don't think it's toxic to prove that your argument doesn't make sense and isn't in line with how Bungie decided to handle not only vaulting, but old time-gated content in general (because ST hasn't been on a time-game since the launch of Shadowkeep). Ironically, when people were asking to remove the time-gate from Shattered Throne, people like you were posting the same arguments against it. It's really funny reading through those discussions now.

I'm not making an argument :) I'm telling you how I feel about something. That's why I use phrasing like "in my opinion", or "I feel like". If you think you can invade my head space and try to tell me I'm wrong for feeling a certain way about something... That's very toxic. And I never made any kind of argument about the shattered throne, but nice attempt to cherry pick information there... I guess lol.

Opinions can be wrong if they aren't taking into account all available information. I obviously cannot force you to change that opinion, but I do like presenting my case objectively and objectively, there is no logical reason why Bungie should not allow players to finish this title since they are allowing players to finish everything else. I made a comparison with Shattered Throne because you're using the 3 week cycle to justify your opinion. I don't think the opinion is justifiable due to the existence of ST and how its time-gating has been handled previously. Again, no logical reason to exclude TtP because the 3 week cycle clearly doesn't matter enough to Bungie to keep content time-gated. I want all players to have a chance to finish their quests, titles and collections. Bungie wants the same, seeing as they've changed everything else to make that possible. We're only waiting for information regarding this title and I'd like to keep the conversation going in order to get a solution sooner rather than later.
