I’m still curious as to why people are complaining when chronicler was released in forsaken. That is two years, they should have devoted time to get the title.

I literally addressed this as the first point of my FAQ. I, and many others, did not play the game at the time. Personally, I returned when the game migrated to Steam. I had a backlog of entire Year 2 + new content from Shadowkeep + new seasonal content and learning and adjusting to all the changes. I began doing Chronicler at the beginning of this year. It took time to understand what I need, where and how to get it, and proceed with some of the more difficult aspects of the title, such as most of Marasenna which requires running Shattered Throne at least 3 times to initiate and finish the Wishender quest and then to get all eggs. Not to mention running a raid to get eggs in Last Wish which I was unable to do until I found a clan I was comfortable joining (2 months ago). This is all irrelevant though because Bungie explicitly decided to change how vaulted content is earned to make it easier for players. This is also addressed in points 4 and 5 of my FAQ. People should've devoted time to grinding Pyramidion to get Silicon Neurom- oh wait, you get Silicon Neuroma for free now when you do Evacuation: Io because Io is getting vaulted and grinding for RNG guns to collect is not player friendly. I'm glad this was made easier because I don't want other people to have to suffer through RNG grinds like I have. I'm not mad because someone got it easier than me.

Just because you did not play during forsaken does not mean it was not unavailable. It has been out for two years whether you chose to play the game or not was on you. My point is you were not there to play the content at the time and I fail to see how arguing is going to change it.

Because Bungie is aware that there are plenty of people that joined at a later date, most notably since the game migrated to Steam and they've already made the changes to titles, activities and loot drops in order to prepare ALL players for vaulting. I have yet to see an argument as to why Chronicler in particular should be exempt from that, seeing as other titles aren't, literal end-game raid content isn't and other "high value" items such as rare exotic drops or Nightfall specific weapons aren't either. All of these things were altered to be easier to acquire, going as far as literally just being rewards for finishing the most basic of quests.
