Ironically we have had more pinnacle/ritual bows than snipers

There are only like... what 11 bows in the game now only 4 legendary ones are viable for further seasons. Meanwhile a reskin is getting a reskin of a reskin... oh lets not forget 3 snipers from the ritual weapons, Im gonna be happy that Revoker usage will drop and the risk of losing ammo if you miss will return, but snipers have way to much aim assist and not enough counters. Remember when Scouts had that use in D1 of being abled to flinch a sniper? Now I don't even bother as I know the sniper will just aim bot and recoil up to my head to punish me for daring to shoot its owner. Now I just close the distance and unload sidearm into snipers. Unless its a StompEEs hunter thinking he's talented because his boots give an overkill amount of linear jump velocity on top of height. Then again what I see now is alot of super mario 2.0 jumps then brain dead shotguning down at the floor for easy kills. Just make it so snipers actually recoil properly, no need to nerf damage or anything. Heck if anything buff them in PvE, and just make it so flinch actually works against snipers. I shouldn't shoot at someone with say a pulse and get all hots and they can still aim bot my head despite being under fire. Meanwhile Bows actually have under fire flinch

Edited by dead fighter 3: 9/12/2020 3:09:34 PMIm mainly just saying that I can give bows some slack (haha pun) because their are so few of them in the game and even less that are useable in the future. Plus their is only 1 more ritual/pinnacle bow than snipers. Honestly what I would like to see is a ritual sword or rocket launcher. Anything really that is more original than LDR's Reskin getting a reskin. Heck a Omolon sniper would have been more original for a ritual weapon lol. Idk I kinda went on a tangent, but the only reason I can say Bows have more rituals/pinacles is because Bungie was to lazy to make more normal bows in general. Plus the Stag was a rushed mess lol

Stag doesn't even count though. I only mentioned it because bungle likes to call it one, but it was a free pursuit, from an easy quest tied to earning iron banner loot. Wasn't even pursuit worthy. But, with this new weapon, it's even between snipers and bows.

It’s a ritual weapon.

Ok Bungie lap dog. Except it checks none of those boxes?

Man, calling him a Bungie lap dog really got him there. Stag was meant to be a Season of dawn ritual, but got delayed for unknown reasons. His points clear as day, but because the point contradicts someone elses post, they're obviously a Bungie lap dog. This place never changes.

It wasn't ever stated to be a season of dawn pinnacle. It was stated to be a season of dawn iron banner weapon, but NEVER stated to be a dawn pinnacle. They didn't call it a pinnacle, or ritual, weapon until the next season when it was introduced. They had no rituals to show for, so they repurposed the iron banner bow to be a "ritual". Even though there's NOTHING ritual about it. It's literally just tied to the iron banner quest step. You unlock it as easily as you unlock the iron banner auto rifle or fusion.
