well if you started playing as a new light player.. you're not truly a chronicler are you?
English
-
Why not? If you put the time and effort in to get all the other chronicler lore books and are now unable to get it because truth to power is the only one you can't get.
-
the three week cycle is caused by the curse that repeats itself.. you want lore? thats the lore.. everytime you meet mara sov she tells you more of her story.. at the end the chronicler is a participation award for the y1-2 players.. its the one of the things that seperates most players who bought the game from the f2p players.. don't get me wrong.. im not an elitist that thinks you don't deserve it or whatever.. its simply just how it is..
-
Yup couldn't agree more.
-
Yeah but mara sov is not in her own court anymore, she hasn't been there for a long time. Bungie even changed the entry to shattered throne. That used to be also only in the third week of the curse. But now you can go in every week, so why aren't we also allowed to go to the queens court every week.

Edited by biist: 9/15/2020 7:46:32 AMi think that change was made for the izanagi quest.. as i said.. chronicler required a lot of players a lot of time.. i don't think bungie should focus to change seal requirements just to hand them out to new light players.. they already nerfed the dredgen seal, the title i wanted the most when forsaken came out because i thought the dredgen lore was the coolest.. now its considered a joke.. you were just too late.. you have to live with that, no reason to blame bungie..
-
It didn't require more time. This is a nonsense argument.
-
it would if they'd be handing out the lore every week.. too late is too late, end of story..
-
No, it wouldn't...it would take the exact same amount of time actually doing the required work. Didn't think that through...did you? Or have we actually devolved to the stage where doing absolutely nothing is now considered "playing the game". Smh.
-
you clearly got the idea that other people had to wait for the cycles.. its the same with every other activity you have to wait until it comes up again.. no need to change that for some NL players..
-
And why not?

Edited by biist: 9/15/2020 11:03:31 AMwasted resources
-
"Wasted resources" is an absolute non argument.
-
it seems you never had to work with limited resources
-
I have. We are talking about changing a few code lines...which Bungie just did to stall the lore for the weekly AND to remove the GM selection tab that truly do not benefit anybody. So not only is the "bUt wAsTe oF rEsOuRcEs" applied to something that is easily accomplished already outrageous from that perspective... But also because unless you actually have a very, very deep insight into the multi million dollar, 600+ employee company the argument is still utter nonsense when made by anybody outside the company. Even then the argument itself is utter tripe purely based on the fact that what constitutes a "waste" is highly subjective and applicable to any and every action Bungie takes... Now....you don't actually care about how a multi million dollar 600+ employee manages their resource...it just gives you a blanket way out of actually having to answer the question about why you don't want them to change the drop frequency so people can finish their seals.
-
i never said i 'dont want' them to change it.. if they'd change it i wouldn't point my finger at him yelling "yOu'Re NoT a ReAl ChRoNiClEr".. i just gave my two cents why they probably won't do it.. i really have no idea if it would require just 'a few code lines'.. so im not gonna have an opinion on that.. i assume you're not one of that 600+ employees either.. so our arguments are both invalid right? i think theres a reason they postponed the release, resources might be one of them.. unless we both don't know im just gonna say bad luck for OP.. let them make sure they'll get BL right this time..
