Well the fact that the light can work differently in each Guardian. Ana's light creates pools of light wherever her golden gun shot hit. Osiris can make echoes of himself. Zavalas ward of dawn is massive. Ikora can use a Void Chaos reach. Guardian light would have to be different from others because otherwise they wouldn't be able to kill each other with light. Also, Shaxx and Saladin always ask us how OUR light is.
