I don’t think Zavala would be jealous. He’d more likely be either terrified and would highly oppose us. I mean you’re right about how we’re THE guardian whose saved the city countless times and who slayed all those “Gods” for the last 6 years, canon wise we’re probably the most powerful guardian in Zavala’s eyes, and the fact that we would have to turn to the darkness to fight our new enemy? I would be scared shitless if I were him, because he knows if the time comes, hopefully it doesn’t, and we succumb to the seduction of the darkness and turn evil, he won’t be strong enough to stop us. And that is why he would be extremely opposed to the possibility, not jealousy, it’ll probably take some time for him to get over it, but I expect him to be watching our every move from now on.
