Because Destiny 2 streamers have to get matched against small children to look good for their viewers, thus roping said viewers into this infinite downward spiral of bad content we call a game banking on the idea eventually those viewers will buy something from Eververse. All a vicious cycle, and there's pretty much nothing we can do about it considering there are so many mindless fanboys that trying to start a boycott is borderline impossible at this rate.

Blaming streamers.. “Mindless fanboys” Two comments that immediately make any argument that might be valid, not really worth listening to. Sorry. Streamers are usually pretty decent players so this idea that it’s all so they can show off their stomping skills is meaningless. People want to watch good players, not bad ones hence them being pretty decent. And the latter comment just sounds bitter. People pay their money and play the game. If they enjoy it then that’s up to them in the same way as if they don’t enjoy it. But calling them mindless fanboys just because they disagree with your opinion of the game doesn’t make you sound cool. The games in a bad state, we know that. It needs improving, we know that, but some people defend parts of the game because they enjoy those parts eg raids, dungeons...whatever. Defending the game and saying they enjoy it does t make them mindless nor a fanboy, just a gamer who enjoys Destiny.

Nah. They're likely decent enough as people but they're also very financially invested in it and are not representative of lower skilled, average players who are taking all the brunt of this stupid move. They are skilled, often very skilled, and they want easy games to stomp - and they explicitly say as much - and want to make endless We Ran stomp clips as they ROUTINELY DO and want to add terrible loadouts and yet still massicre noobs with them for viewership, for financial gain. They're sweaty, skilled gamers who don't want to face other sweaty skilled gamers and everyone else be damned. All admitted to or unquestionably obvious, all for their personal gain at the real cost of the average gamer just wanting a roughly fair game.
