Hidden Alignment, I challenge you!
Subconscious Me:[b][i]Damnit, weren’t we supposed to challenge that hidden guy with something he’d suck at, and win due to us having no morals whatsoever?![/i][/b]
Well. True. But I decided if the Judges do their job right, you know, like not being prejudiced, and pay attention, and then we do everything right, like not godmodding, and just using endurance, we should win!

[i]I walk out of a red portal, my flaming sword, The Adjutant Flame, in my hand.[/i] “Alignment. How you doin?”

The Adjutant Flame
A sword fit for a King. / Forged by Sylver for Lord Crowley.
Appearance: A straight-bladed sword with a narrow crossguard and diamond-shaped pommel. The edges of the blade are bright and reflective, though the faces are dark. White runes run up the center of the blade.
Abilities: Can be ignited to expel the heat of a star, burning through anything it passes. Provides the bearer with high resistances to both heat and cold.

Sylver forged the Adjutant Flame within the Defender’s Forge, buried deep in the earth and made to resist great powers. Here he forged a weapon from kyrite, a bipolar metal found rarely near the cores of planets, and the heart of a forsaken star. Along with the aforementioned abilities, the weapon will not dull, chip, or be lost to the owner.

I’m curious as to how you work under pressure.” [spoiler]If we’re doing weapon descriptions, here’s mine: Alignment wields a ball that can split apart in to smaller balls 10 times. He can move the balls and suspend them in the air with the gloves on his hands. If he has enough energy, he can snap his fingers and cause lasers to form In between them. The smaller the balls, the weaker the lasers. [/spoiler]

[b]Alignment:[/b] “Though I would rather not fight as well, you seem to forget that this is an arena. The most violent form of entertainment. To deny the people of what they want is a waste of my time here, and I despise wasting. Besides, this is a good opportunity to learn about how you think!” [i]Alignment splits his ball in two and skips it on the ground like a stone skipping on water. It heads towards you.[/i]

“Heh. Here. I’ll give you a clue. If I may.” [spoiler]imma get in on the italic game[/spoiler] [i]I toss a little pill towards you. It has several red sparkles and black lines in it. [/i] [spoiler]No I am not trying to poison you. I’m pretty sure poison wouldn’t work on you. [/spoiler]

[i]Alignment swats the pill away.[/i] [b]Alignment:[/b] “I’d rather not accept items from a foe, regardless of their intentions.” [i]The skipping ball moves at high speeds, getting closer and closer.[/i]

I fire a bolt of hellfire at it from a finger gun, preparing to teleport away. [spoiler]I’ll be rolling dice for defenses and attacks. [/spoiler]

[i]The bolt explodes on contact with the ball. It stops, but from the smoke of the explosion emerges two smaller balls. One goes to the left and the other to the right.[/i]

I fire two more bolts at each ball, preparing to leap back.

[i]The balls, given their reduced weight, move fast enough to just barely dodge the bolts, but the explosions from each slightly knock them away from their intended course. Alignment stays where he is and splits the ball in his hand into two. [/i]

“Good thing I learned trick-shooting.” I start firing bolts at all of the balls, dangerously fast. (13)

[i]You manage to hit the two balls that were circling you, blasting them across the arena. Alignment holds the other two balls he has in front of them to block the shots. The explosion slightly burns his fingers.[/i] [b]Alignment:[/b] “You’re not the only one who knows how to aim.” [i]Alignment splits the ball in his left hand into three, kicking two of them straight towards you.[/i]

(4) [i]Alignment takes a direct hit from the bolt and falls down. He slowly gets back up and smiles.[/i] [b]Alignment:[/b] “Someone wasn’t paying attention.” [i]Alignment rolls the last ball in his left hand in front of you and snaps his fingers, creating a cage of lasers from the balls that were thrown at you. The ball in front of you creates a laser that connects to the ball behind you, causing the laser to form right through you.[/i] (8)

(17) I whip around, and catch the laser on my hand, absorbing it. “Ever learned Tutaminis? Really useful if you get the hang of it.” I run forward and try to slash at your neck. (12)

(16) [i]Alignment quickly turns off all of the lasers and retracts all of the balls he threw. He merges them into one, only to split them apart again into four. He puts 3 of them close together and the 4th one farther apart. He creates a laser between the 4th one and the group of three. He uses the new configuration as a sword and blocks your attack.[/i] (The weapon looks like this: ⚫️⚫️⚫️———————⚫️) [i]Alignment then follows the block with a side slash.[/i] (18)

(20🤷♂️) I smack it out of the air with the flat side of my sword, and run at Alignment again, firing bolts at him as I close the distance. (Roller likes 5 it seems.)

(My roller likes 14, it seems) [i]Alignment fades away in time to avoid your bolts. He reappears right behind you and swings his ball configuration at you.[/i] (15)

(16) I barely duck it, and try to whip around slashing at your chest. (9)

(18) [i]Alignment blocks the attack and follows with an elbow strike.[/i] (Nat 20 🤷♂️)

(11. Dangit.) You smack me in the chest, and I slash at your chest again with a snarl. (13)

(14... for the 5th time.) [i]Alignment barely dodges the slash and backs up. His suit is cut in the attack. He pulls the ball he threw earlier back to him and throws it at you at point blank range.[/i] (17)
