The hum of Blaze’s ship can be heard, and a few moments later he walks in wearing a new hat, and his usual sunglasses. “So this is your old home.”

Skye looks up from the little book in her hands, and she quickly places it safely in a pouch on her belt. She walks out of the room she is standing in, and gives the space a final glance over. “Aye. This isn’t exactly how I would want to welcome anyone to my house, sorry about all the dust. Did you make it here all right?”
-
“Yeah. Never traveled this far out before, though. It’s a nice place.”
-
She rubs the back of her neck a little sadly. “Thanks... it’s small, but it’s comfortable. Are you all good to go? Once everyone gets here, I’ll give everyone a shirt reminder of what we’re doing and then we’ll head out.”
-
Blaze twirls his cane, and let’s sparks fly from his fingertips as he checks his belt. “Yeah, I think I’m ready.”
-
She lets a small smile tug at the corners of her mouth. “Looks like it!”
-
“I’m guessing you want us to knock him out at most?”
-
“Well, I need to talk to him, maybe wait to knock him out for a bit unless there’s no other option! One of the top priorities should be to somehow take away his ability to control his Atoms.”
-
Blaze sighs. “Alright, your choice on what we do. I can probably deal with his gloves though.”
-
“You sound disappointed,” she points out truthfully.
-
“No just....” he sighs again. “Talking doesn’t always work. I’ve found that out myself. But, in the end it’s your call.”
-
Her eyes soften at Blaze’s concern as she is quickly reminded of his relationship with Dink. “You’re right, it doesn’t always work. In fact, I’ve tried to talk to Errol twice already, and you remember how it ended. It—it might not work this time, either, but I just recently learned something about our father and... I think I have a better idea of what to say. I just want one more chance.”
-
Blaze stretches. “Like I would deny you that. I guess I’ll try to tire him out, and not die.” He thinks for a moment. “Would you want Fox on standby? In case we need her?”
-
“You not dying would... definitely be appreciated,” she replies, suddenly more solemn. “You mean have Fox in standby in the ship, right? I know she’s not extremely experienced in combat, and I don’t want to take unnecessary risks.”
-
“Yeah. She can be standby in the ship....but if things go wrong, she’s good at smashing things as a golem.”
-
“A golem? Well, if we do need backup I can’t wait to see Errol’s reaction to that,” she says with her finger and thumb on her chin in thought. As everyone begins to approach the table, Skye tilts her head and starts to follow their example. “Come on, Titan and Ring aren’t here yet, but I don’t think we can wait much longer.”
-
“Alright. What’s the plan?”
