Linux support for Destiny 2?

Since Destiny 2 on Linux is not supported through Wine/Proton/SteamPlay, could a native client for the game be released? As there seems to already be a native Linux client for the Debian-based Google Stadia, most of the work would presumably come from porting or rewriting the anti-cheat for Linux as I doubt there are local anti-cheat processes on Google Stadia or consoles for that matter, as well as optimizing for different hardware configurations instead of a (presumably) static hardware configuration for Google Stadia, given that the reason that Destiny 2 does not work through compatibility solutions is that the anti-cheat does not function properly. I understand that the size of the Linux gaming userbase is not substantial enough to warrant work on an official release from a financial standpoint, as can for example be seen from this petition, which at most would indicate a 4.214% userbase when compared to the average peak playerbase numbers on Steam, unless the users could directly fund this development. I think it's quite a dreamy idea, but I also think that it isn't unreasonable in concept, given that we would technically be acting as a platform holder paying you to bring the game over to our platform, similarly to how Google got Destiny 2 to Google Stadia (unless you did it for the userbase, which I wouldn't bet to be any bigger than on Linux). Of course this is assuming that the Linux build is something that could be published, but it might not even be so given that it was developed for Google Stadia (either in terms of technology, or an agreement with Google), but either way I'm hoping to have discussion about any Linux support, whether it'd be an anti-cheat process that works with compatibility solutions or a fully native port.
