I don't think Black Armory is getting Vaulted. Both of the Forge planets are still going to be around. If you like the Forges, have you done the Menagerie? That is well made. It has a very good balance of work for rewards. And it is pretty fun, too. The Menagerie, however, takes place on the Leviathan. Which has been confirmed to be getting Vaulted.
On a side note; Forsaken, the Black Armory, and Menagerie were done with help from Activision. The seasonal model we have suffered through this past year was all Bungie.

Confirmed: Ada-1 and the Black Armory content is being sent to the DCV (Destiny Content Vault). As to why, they only thing I've found is that it's because it's year 1 content. NO OTHER REASON listed so far.

What’s really confusing though is they are taking away SOTP raid, even though it’s on earth. But yes they are most likely taking away all year 1 stuff and a lot of year 2 stuff.

I have seen nothing about vaulting SOTP. Could you please direct me to that info? Im not doubting you I just like my facts verrified while I am still deciding to invest in the season of sadness.

First: the ither four moments of triumph raids are leaving, so this probably will too Second: Bungie said that I’m beyond light, three raids will be playable, including the new raid in the DSC Third: weapon drops from scourge have their power cap at 1060

Yeah. I got the link and found the info. It was actually right in the announcement but magically hidden from me, as Im sure bungie intended. I personally will not miss sotp but its kinda a fun 6 person (5 is fine) nightfall that kills a bit of time while someone is eating or something. And im not sure if it will be sad that the people who never got anarchey will loose the chance. Or mad that it will become some random drop or seasonal giveaway leading to its inevitable nurf. Just chalking more up for the loss of my favorite game to date. However, my mind is made up and Im in till it's pushing up daisies or something on the new ps5 proves to be better. I guess that makes me the pathetic one instead of bungie but destiny was a trophy wife so you gotta hold on till your debt for the great sex is paid.
