I guess I got banned?

I have a couple hours in Destiny 2 and was hopping onto the game last night to do a few missions and customs with some friends. I wake up this morning with a "game ban" message on Steam. Here's the issue and I think it's a common one. I had "Cheat Engine" open on my computer from earlier which I believe was the reason for this ban. I was using it to test out some things in Stardew Valley and forgot to close it. I'm gonna be honest, I'm pretty sad about a big red steam profile message saying I got game banned. I would appreciate some way to fix my profile for this issue and not have to wait seven years for it to disappear over a silly mistake. All help is appreciated.

 • Allo there, The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. Please review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned.
