I'm with you. Super casual player here and just spent four days grinding out the first two levels of the armor quests. Then I hit the final level with a Master Nightfall requirement in addition to Trials and other impossible events, for me, NOT built for casual players! I dumped it all and now I feel like the time investment was a complete waste! And the opinions of others like "git gud" or find a clan or people to play with does not fly with me. I do not play or care enough.

I'm same kinda bummed about it all tbh jst feel like I'm forced to buy the ornament so my guy looks cool because master nightfalls never gonna happen an trials I just out right refuse to try again first time I went into trials I was against a guy with unlimited heavy ammo with ward cliff coil I think it's called that, it's the rocket launcher that shoots loads at same time and that was off putting enuff to never play trials again. If they want people to even have a chance of gm nightfalls they need to un nerf the engrams back to way they used to be at start of this season so they are worth the drop like before

You’re in a clan with 49 other people ? Surely there’s others in there willing to squad up and try getting 7 non consecutive [i]Trials[/i] wins? Or a [i]GM Nightfall[/i] completion ? Isn’t it a friendly, social place ?

Sure, i joined that clan purely out of the invite for clan rewards. And the three different times i asked for help it’s crickets!

Its end game centric rewards to to celebrate the years activities. The rewards are cosmetic. Of course there are end game requirements. Why would they just give them out? It is to show that one can overcome obstacles.

No one is asking them to "give them out". Did you not read anything I said. There is a brick wall for casual players - FACT! For those not in a clan or have people to progress with or don't do PVP or whatever the case may be - the casual player is left out from celebrating the years activities! Not everyone has the time or skill-set to be Mr. Super-Mega Destiny Sweat Bruh!

Thats where im at. I almost never play PVP and I was willing to try trials but I just went to get the access and found out that to even try trials I have to reach legend rank in crucible with 50 kills in elimination and im just not able to do it all. I have beaten the 1080 nightfall with some clan members and I can run pit of heresy just fine. But its different when your opponents are AI vs other players. There is a difference in skill level that you can't just work to get past like with other activities. I would be fine with having a crucible grind to finish the armor because I understand that it is about all the activities, but trials is just too much. So I agree with you that for new players and even casual players who have been at the game for a while you finish the second set challenges and hit a wall.
