Grind can be fun when the fun comes from the act of grinding itself. Like if you were grinding Humanity in Dark Souls by doing co-op bosses. The grind is the game in that case. The problem is Destiny's grind has become not fun. Destiny's grind isn't a reward at the end of something you want to do anyways, it's a laundry list of chores you really don't want to do.
