Are you me? Welcome to Club Refund. Sunsetting was the big one for me, but Solstice definitely pushed the needle over the edge. I finished the blue set on my Hunter, took one look at the purple requirements and said lol no. Dismantled all of the Solstice armor, abandoned the quests, turned off the game. I'm not quitting outright, but I am gonna play on my terms, which means a dungeon a week and maybe a few odds and ends with my one friend who blindly defends and loves Bungie and sees no fault in anything they do while proceeding to complain that he's only ever finished Last Wish because I dragged him into it. He's an odd one. While he's toiling away all month on his armor requirements so he can spend $45 on glows, I'm gonna be enjoying other games like FFXIV's new story patch, Remnant's upcoming DLC and Sekiro. Games that respect my time.

Have you tried out Anthem? Apparently, it's pretty darn fun.

I enjoyed it for forty hours or so at launch. I have no complaints, but I also had no desire to continue with it past that point. If they did a big Taken King for Anthem, I'd probably hop back in to check it out.

So far, I’m [i]really[/i] enjoying the gameplay. I’m in my first 20 hours though..The story’s okay, some cheesy dialogue moments and 100% optional character conversation. the main thing I’ve really noticed are population issues for some public events. Other than that I’m having more fun than playing D2. I don’t think the endgame experience will be rich though. Seems like the ceiling might be low. But for 10 bucks on the PS-Store, it’s worth it.

DM me how it is after a few weeks. I definitely enjoyed the flight mechanics. Just seemed like there was a low ceiling for endgame content, which isn't a complaint exactly. Just why I stopped playing.

Hmm, I get that feeling going in atm. I got it for 10 bucks, so I’m going to play it through. It’s already made up for the 10 imo.
