And that fellas. Is what too much time on one video game without a break does to you.
"I quit WOW when it stopped being fun. I quit Overwatch when it stopped being fun. Now I quit Destiny when it stopped being fun."
That's the correct choice. Although you made that choice far too late. Seriously guys. If a game your playing is becoming boring or frustrating and that goes on for more than 5ish hours you need to take a break. Games are for fun. Not collecting a ton of loot. Not to check off a box. They're for fun. Please stop doing this to yourself.
There are so many other fun and interesting games that exist. Take a break and play an indie game. Or go play some other shooter. It doesn't matter. Just stop playing the same game for 1000+ hours without playing anything else.

You are making an assumption he hasn't played anything else.... I have more hours than him and have played plenty of other things in between.

From the attitude of this post. It pretty much seems like he's continuing to play Destiny during one of it's driest periods religiously. People will come back in the fall and rave about how awesome beyond light is. It was the same cycle with TTK and Forsaken. People get this way because they grind this game way too hard and get fed up.

You're talking to a massive grind player atm, I get the burnout for me since I'm a raider its because we haven't had a new raid in almost a year and a half, we've gronded the same 7 raids for that long with nothing, I don't know what op does in game, but I assume it hasn't changed in a while, he like myself could take a day or two break and play something different i did that recently with ghost of tsushima bht then went back to raiding.

Garden of Salvation isn't even a year old yet. Where is this year and a half coming from?

My bad after 400 clears it seems its been there forever.....

If not playing for a day or two is a significant break to you, then you are possibly playing too much. Maybe take a month off, give your other interests some attention?

Edited by Alleviate_Fate: 8/13/2020 8:44:50 PMI think playing something is an interest and if destiny is their choice so be it, not worth scrutinizing someone over what they enjoy.
