Changing something for the sake of pvp utility has never, in the history of this game, been a good idea. They do need a rework though, yes.

I get that, and I agree. That's why I felt the buff for the user would benefit in PvE as much as PvP, a constant heal would provide useful and feels like a voidwalker trait to have a consistent life stealing feature.
