At first, Cara has a weary expression on her face. She doesn’t seem physically tired, but rather concerned. However, she quickly offers a welcoming smile, a curious glint in her eye at the stranger. “Welcome ta this Silver Stag Inn, feel free ta have a seat an’ make yerself comfortable. Can I get ye anythin’?”
-
*Xyun smiles and goes to sit down.* “I’ll have a glass of lemonade thank you, and who else has been here?”
-
Cara briefly disappears and returns with a wooden cup of lemonade. However, she seems distracted, and a sudden movement causes her to spill a small portion of the drink. “I did it again!” She mumbles in frustration to herself, drying off the side of the cup before setting it before Xyun and answering her question. “A good many folk come through here. Tradesmen, travelers, towns people... someone in particular ye lookin’ fer?”
-
“Skye, and don’t be so hard on yourself, it’s not good for your health or well being.”
-
She looks at Xyun suspiciously and completely ignores her comment about her well being. “Skye? Wha’ do ye want Skye fer?”
-
“I know that she needs help with Errol, that little pest is at the top of my list of souls to consume.”
-
Cara stands in silence for a moment. “He’s more a fool than a pest, but I don’ know if Skye wants his soul ta be consumed.”
-
“Well in my eyes he is a pest, and if she doesn’t want that to occur I’ll just clone his soul and consume that one, no harm, no foul.”
-
“I’d say harm is done ta the clone, and metinks consumin’ souls is rather foul,” she says bluntly.
-
“Well all’s fair when it comes to murder and deception seeing as I am the goddess of both of them.”
-
“Good heavens, I have a difficult time believin’ tha’ even a bodach like Skye has any fellows by that title.”
-
“Most people do.”
-
Cara looks at Xyun up and down, as though studying her. “Most people do wha’? Have fellows by the title of ‘goddes of murder an’ deception’?”
-
“No, most people don’t even believe what I tell the—-“ *Xyun disappears and someone else walks into the bar, he is wearing merchants clothes, and has black, spindly, hair.*
-
Cara stands in shock of what just happened. She turns to the man. “I—welcome ta the Silver Stag, how can I help ye?”
-
“Well I’m looking for someone for starters, the name’s Nightshade by the way, and you?”
-
“Cara,” she replies. “Who are ye lookin’ fer?”
-
“Skye, I think thats her name?”
-
Cara rolls her eyes slightly. “Heavens, seems like everyone wants ta talk ta tha’ bodach!”
-
“It seems so.”
-
Cara shrugs and tilts her head towards a set of ascending stairs leading to the guest rooms. “She’s up there.”
-
*Nightshade heads upstairs.*
-
Cara follows behind, then points to a hallway. “Fourth door ta the left.”
-
*Nightshade goes and knocks on the fourth door.*
-
Skye soon opens the door after some scuttling is heard. She looks at Nightshade curiously. “Um... hi. Can I help you?”
