*Dally walks inside with a small container full of cookies.*
“Howdy! How’re you?”

Cara stands up straight, leaving her rag on the table, and wiping her hands on her apron. There is a weary expression over her face. She doesn’t seem physically tired, but rather concerned. Still, she quickly offers a welcoming smile. “Welcome ta the Silver Stag Inn,” she greets in an Irish accent, glancing curiously at the container in Dally’s hands. “What can I do fer ye?”

“I’m here to see Skye!” *Dal notices the curiosity.* “Oh and these are some cookies I made to have while we chat, want one?”

Her left brow twitches with interest at Dally’s first reply, then she shakes her head politely at her offer. “Tha’s all right, but tank ye nonetheless. Yer here ta see... Skye? May I ask why?” She seems a little skeptical of the visitor.

After a moment’s thought, Cara nods her head towards a set of ascending stairs in the far side of the room. “I’ll take ye to her. If yer her friend metinks ye know why she’s spent many an hour workin’. I’m sorry fer bein’ a wee bit suspicious.”

“It’s no problem, it’d be kinda careless to just let people in without checking them first.” “And yeah, if you’d take me to her that’d be great!”

“Aye, and it seems one has ta be more cautious nowadays.” She begins to move toward the stairs. “Don’ tink I caught yer name. I’m Cara.”

*Dally stands up and follows.* “Nice to meet ya Cara, I’m Daliah, but my friends call me Dally!”

“An’ ye as well, Dally. ‘tis good ta see a friendly face.” Cara leads Dally up the stairs, which end at a balcony overlooking the first floor. She stops one of a few hallways to the right, and turns to Dally. “Fourth door on the left. Just give me a shout if ye need anythin’.”

“Okay! Thanks for the help!” *Dally walks up to the door and knocks before calling out.* “Heya Skye, I’m here!”

“What? Dally?” Her voice is heard from the other side, though she sounds like she is struggling with something. “Come—come on in!”

*Dally walks on in and takes a quick look around!* “You need help with anything?”

There is a bed to the right with a sizable chest on the floor at its foot, and a small table and chair to the left. It is a comfortable room, but is quite a mess. Crumbled up pieces of paper are piled up in a corner, while paper left whole is scattered over the bed along with a strange glowing red orb. Skye is sitting at the table, surrounded by various parts and tools, working on her bow. She looks up at Dally with a smile. “Well, I—“ Before she can finish, the bow suddenly recoils with a [i]snap[/i], sending a sharp rectangular piece of metal flying. It plants itself in the door beside Dally with a [i]thud[/i].

*Dal jumps and airdashes away from the Metal after itd already impacted.* “Okay! That could’ve been bad.” *She walks over to the table and sets the cookies down.*

Skye’s eyes widen with horror at what had just taken place. She makes room on the table for cookies, then jumps out of her seat to pull the metal out of the door. “I’m so sorry! That could have been terrible!”

“It’s alright! Everything turned out alright!” *Dal sounds a bit shaken by the experience, but overall she’s fine.*

Skye tugs the metal out of the door and then turns around, biting her lip at the sight of her room. “And... uh... sorry about the mess. I got sidetracked and... kind of forgot I was going to have company.” She starts gathering the pieces of paper on her bed, and kicks the crumbled balls beneath it. “Did you bring chocolate chip cookies, or did you try something else this time?” She asks in a more lighthearted tone.

“It’s all good, I’ve seen and lived in worse!” “And this time I made snickerdoodle! I’m not sure if they turned out any good, but I tried my best!”

“Well, there’s only one way to find out! I could use a quick cookie break.”

“Mhm! Then we’ll chat!”

“Sounds great.” She sets the papers in a more neatly stack beside the glowing orb, then pushes a few more gadgets, gizmos, and pieces on the table to the beside before opening the container of cookies. “So how’ve you been since we last spoke in Blaze’s bar?”

“I’ve been great! I’ve spent a lot of quality time with Tigersfan, met a few new people, and just had a good time overall! How’ve you been?” [spoiler]I want to get a spot reserved for the fight, but I can’t really justify Dal bringing it up without prompting![/spoiler]

She grabs a cookie, then picks gestures to the chair at the table to offer a seat for Dally before settling herself on top of the chest. “I’m glad to hear all of that! And it must be especially nice to be with Tiger.” At Dally’s question, she nods to the not-quite-finished longbow on the table. “I’ve just been working on that thing. Definitely gotten a lot of progress done, but it’s been difficult not having all of the tools I used back home. That’s kind of why it... uh... launched a piece of dagger at the door.” She chuckles nervously, then clears her throat. [spoiler]Don’t worry! I give an opportunity to talk about that in a post or two. I do have to hit the hay, though, so we can continue that tomorrow![/spoiler]

*Dal takes a seat and grabs a cookie too.* “Well it’s good it’s coming along alright, but the whole launching weapons ain’t great. Is there any real fix for that other than getting the needed tools?” [spoiler]Okay, I guess I’m just not used to being in a sort of race with the other players to get a spot! G’night![/spoiler]

Skye takes a bite of her cookie, and shows obvious delight in its taste. “The limbs are so tight that if the pieces aren’t fastened properly, the tension causes them to recoil and those pieces to launch. They only way to keep that from happening is if they are held still while I fasten them.” She pauses to think. “Hm... do you mind helping me with that?” [spoiler]Im not exactly used to this, either. And it wasn’t my first choice, but just having a smaller team would really help me be able to manage that RP better.[/spoiler]
