*Loot steps through the door, in his suit, and dark gloves, he walks over to Cara* ... If I was that table I'd be screaming in agony, is there any finish left on it?...

Her brows pinch together in surprise. She quickly stands up straight, drops the rag and wipes her hands on her apron. “Loot! It’s been a good while since I last saw ye,” she says in her familiar Irish accent. “The table... ‘tis a good table, it’ll be fine.”

... If you say so, any particular reason you were scrubbing it with such intensity?...

She hesitates, then shakes her head dismissively. “Concerned fer a friend is all. Wha’ brings ye back ta Kleinton? Can I get ye anythin’?”

... Oh nothing in particular, just poking my nose where it doesn't belong, and then my hands end up paying for it, I could use some water if you don't mind...

Cara looks at Loot in slight surprise. “Just water, eh? I’ll get it fer ye right quick.” She heads behind the counter to pour a cup of water, and soon returns to hand it to him.

... Thank you... *Loot takes a long sip* ... So what kind of, trouble is your friend having that it's got you concerned?...

She crosses her arms, a little hesitant to reply. “She’s preparin’ ta chase after someone, and the last time she did it didn’t end well.”

... Ahh I see, a while back I helped this poor girl chase after her brother, attempting to redeem him, we both took a few scrapes but he was the one who ran away...

Her left brow gives a slight twitch. “Did ye, now? Wha’ was her name?”

Cara can’t help but smile at Loot’s sarcasm. “We seem ta be talkin’ about the same person... I’m sorry, I didn’t know ye were there.”

“It’s not a common term outside o’ Kleinton, tha’ I know of.” She turns to finish wiping the table clean. “But metinks it fits Skye rightly. Sometimes I wonder if she tinks straight, especially now. She’s got the nerves o’ a colt feedin’ on sugar cubes.”

Cara gives a sigh. “I believe it’s the reason she ended up all beaten so. She won’ be able to face her brother again on her own because o’ it.”

“O’ course, she’s in her room.” She tilts her head towards a set of ascending stairs and begins to make her way towards it. They lead to a balcony overlooking the first floor of the inn, and she pauses at one of a few hallways to turn to Loot. “Fourth door ta the left.”
