<Given the state of the Traveler, I think the Darkness will get rid of it for us and we'll just have to deal with one cosmic power... the strongest one but still. Balance in our time is the removal of both Gods and potentially both powers. They are unnatural.>

The only issue left after removing them would be the vex who won the universal survival games last time. If we do end up dealing with the light and darkness in lightfall we’ll probably finish off the vex in witch queen. Seeing how she brought their attention to this universe.

<The Vex have already won. They're so widespread already that even when the Traveler dies and the Darkness meets its end, even if we do keep our powers they'll win. They can literally throw legions at us and overwhelm us through numbers alone. Lightfall isn't the end and Witch Queen won't finish the Vex. The latter will break the Hive and the former will break us. The Age of Darkness won't finish Destiny, there'll be another.>

I think if the Vex lost the Vault, or the paracausality that enables it, they would lose. Or at least, lose their major advantage and put them on a more level playing field.

<They're still widespread. At that point it's not about ability, it's numbers.>

Edited by MC 077 Lasombra: 8/3/2020 6:09:08 PMBeing widespread would hurt them. Without teleportation, they have to amass their forces and invade like anyone else. That’ll take time and give us a chance to prepare. I can see a combined force of Humanity, Fallen and Cabal being able to beat them. Although that would be a really low point to finish the franchise off with.
