Allo there, The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. Please review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy here.

 • I've put an appeal out but I'm frantically searching the community for answers because I'm really scared I've lost everything. I really don't want to lose the 1000+ hours I've invested in this game to something not under my control

This is, at minimum, a violation of Bungie's policies against runtime analysis. It is the responsibility of each player to understand what software is running on their device and how it interacts with other applications.

 • I understand that entirely and I accept you have no way of telling the liars apart from honest people, but I had no idea an official program from a graphics card manufacturer would have this impact. I had been suffering from random freezes for the past few weeks and was using the Radeon software to adjust graphics settings such as enhancing application features (an option in the Destiny 2 game page on the software) such as reducing the level of multisampling and tesselation to see if it had any performance benefit - I specifically didn't click "override application settings" because that itself sounded harmful to the game. I know there's nothing I can do now but I didn't expect to receive a permanent ban - maybe a warning or suspension for modifying graphics settings by using a somewhat reputable program.

 • I don't really think it's possible that any of the Radeon drivers features can get you banned.

 • That's the only thing I can think of for getting me banned but I can't do anything about it. I'm a 16yr old guy with a somewhat ok knowledge of computers (obviously age isn't an excuse). I'm just trying to figure what could have possibly got me banned and prevent it happening in future games.

Loyalty. Time played. Content purchased. Gear earned. When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The person at Bungie HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done.
