Malfeasance needs some type of buff

So, I started using the Malfeasance again the other day and having fun because I’ve always loved the weapon. It’s aesthetically pleasing and it does have a fun perk to it. However, outside of gambit it is relatively meh. Hell its not even high tier in Gambit where you have to get the weapon. I know it’s a Gambit weapon, but many weapons are labeled a “specific activity” weapon but are more useful in other activities. When I say buff I’m not talking about the catalyst that is already in the system but not released yet; I’m talking about a buff to the primary stats it has. I’ve been going through in my mind what a buff could be without it being overpowered or underwhelming. Here are some thoughts: [b]•[/b]maybe increasing range by 25% since the base damage isn’t what makes it good. [b]•[/b]the majority will probably just say buff the damage so that’s an idea. I’m thinking a 10-15% damage buff would suffice. [b]•[/b]this last one is a little out there, but raise the RPM up from 180. Basically give it its own type of frame as a hand cannon. Since you want the perk about the 5 explosions so raise the RPM so you get them out faster. The damage will have to be slightly decreased for this to work though. Just some idea that would love for feedback from the player base. It’s a fun weapon that I think a lot of people would enjoy to use in other activities! EDIT: For those saying “it did get buffed just have someone use Witherhoard and it increases damage”, that is not a buff. That is the equivalent of saying Thunderlord was buffed because someone is using divinity on the boss.

    One of its biggest downfalls is that it's a 180 Handcannon and they've need help in pve/pvp for a long time. Malfeasance is a very fun gun as I too recently started toying with it again (going through my vault for trash) and it pairs very well with the Charged with Light Handcannon damage build. I feel 180s were just Bungies way of bridging between a Handcannon and a sidearm but I feel it failed so they should just convert all 180s to 150s or something. They have the slowest ttk in PvP without dmg boosting perks and outside of console, most people hate the recoil pattern they have anyway. Or if they must keep it 180, I'd rather the darts explode at 4 shots instead of five. Might be a bit cheesy in PvP to get a 1 second ttk from body shots but come on.. it's a 1 second ttk when the meta is based around guns with 0.0 to a 0.7 ttk
